History

While it is common for people to dream of starting their own business, very few actually go out of their comfort zones and try to do it. Even fewer still, succeed.

In 1964, a newly-wedded couple risked their stable jobs, went against many odds, put their vision to work in a hot, dusty place called "Dadiangas" (original name of "General Santos City"), South Cotabato, Philippines. Engr. Juanito T. Du and Mrs. Marie W. Du started a business specializing mainly in marketing automotive parts, trucks, tires, batteries, and surplus engines. The founders' sacrifice and hard work paid off when after 25 years of challenges and growth, the business evolved to become a family-owned corporation named, Dadiangas Philippine Champion Industries, Inc. (DPCII).

From its simple beginnings, success continued as Engr. James W. Du took over the helm of daily operations in 1991 up to present. The business has now evolved into importation and national distribution of: tires, inner tubes & flaps, lubricants & additives, automotive tools, and tire & vehicle servicing equipment.

PRESENT

Now armed with over 50 years of experience and excellence the company is the preferred business partner, chosen by premium product brands, to connect manufacturers to Philippine dealers, retailers and large fleet accounts.

Purposeful commitment to customer service is achieved with high quality products along with an efficient in-house logistics framework, further strengthened by the company's countrywide strategic presence and support in Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao. This uniquely achieves for the company what other distributors cannot: shortest possible transport or reaction time resulting, to immediate availability of goods.
